Week 5 Homework

Using the category search engine on videoartworld.org I tried to locate a piece of art, either video art or collage relating to theme I am digitally exploring; the swinging sixties. In particular living in the 1960's. This was a hard task, after searching key words such as "1960" "Retro" and "1960 retrospective" I came to no avail. However, I did find an autobiography video art that I could connect to my topic as it was filmed by  Michel Auder in 1960. Its content was based on the day in life of Andy Warhol. Being a major influence at the time I found it was relevant to my topic as I was exploring the popular culture of this era.

The 60's collage

So here is the final collage.
It is made up of 3 pictures from a house built in 1968 that I visited back in March. Visiting the house was the inspiration for the "Swinging Sixties" theme that I have centered my artworks around.
I've also added found images being the carpet and the roof and have changed the perspective of the picture to make it look as though it is a long room. I've also changed the hue and saturation of Wonder Woman and I dream of Jeannie.
